New Perth City Lunch Sandwiches Hit Joey Zaza’s

We’ve been in the kitchen, working on new lunch sandwiches for you hungry bosses, and we’re excited to finally share them with you on Monday, September 9.

Let’s take a peek at Joey Zaza’s new Perth sandwiches—one’s a family recipe, another’s been on the shelf for six months, and the last was inspired by one of our regulars.

Big Bang Rendang

Big Bang Rendang Sandwich

Six months in the making, our Big Bang Rendang is now ready for P-Town! Think MoTown Philly meets Razzle Dazzle Pork Crackle.

This beef rendang sandwich features slow-cooked beef rendang (cooked for a solid 7 hours), cucumber, house-pickled citrusy red cabbage, coriander, spring onions, and fresh chilli—topped with ZaZa’s deliciously creamy mayo.

La Famiglia Rissoles

La Famiglia Rissoles Sandwich

We’re also excited to share with you La Famiglia Rissoles, inspired by Joey’s mamma’s amazing burger patties (FYI, we call these “bruschelettis” at the family table). We bake them until they’re crispy, put them in a fresh roll with ajvar, rocket, sun-dried tomatoes, olives, aioli, feta, and basil pesto.

New All-Day Brekkie

When it comes to breakfast, we like serving our Perth regulars something that’s both familiar and incredibly tasty. That’s why we added these two items to our all-day breakfast menu: ZaZa’s BEC and Bangin’ Tuna Stack.

ZaZa’s BEC is a delicious mix of bacon, cheesy smashed eggs, American cheese, and Zaza’s special sauce, all tucked into a toasted buttered English muffin. It’s enough to get you through to lunch without being too heavy for your next meal.

We’ve also added another sandwich classic—the Bangin’ Tuna Stack with bangin’ ZaZa flavours, of course. Fuel up with this classic toastie filled with Swiss cheese, spinach, capers, and a kick of Sriracha mayo.
