Commute bosses can get to Joey Zaza’s just by taking the train to Perth station. Once inside Perth City, ‘ya can hop on the CAT buses.

The blue, red, or yellow CAT buses pass by Barrack St. or St. Georges Tce. (Yep, any CAT bus save for the green ones.)

If you’re north of Swan River, the train you’ll take to get to Perth is one of these:

  • Ellenbrook Line (from Northwest of Perth)
  • Midland Line (from Northwest of Perth)
  • Airport Line (from West or East of Perth)
  • Yanchep Line (from Northeast of Perth)

If you’re south of Swan River, the train you’ll take to get to Perth is one of these:

  • Mandurah Line (from Southwest of Perth)
  • Thornlie Line (from South or Southeast of Perth)
  • Armadale Line (from Southeast of Perth)
  • Fremantle Line (from Southwest of Perth)

Directions to Perth City via Bus

As with train stations, getting to Perth cafe Joey Zaza’s means getting off the bus station nearest us then taking a CAT bus once inside Perth. Again, CAT buses of any color work; just make sure they aren’t green.

There’s many roads to Perth cafe Joey Zaza’s. But chances are if ‘ya going by car, ‘ya come from:

Tonkin Highway to Perth City

  1. When coming from north suburbs like Ellenbrook, Henley Brook, and Aveley, ‘ya follow Tonkin Hwy.
  2. Tonkin Hwy. leads into a very long Guildford Rd.
  3. ‘Ya should see a Shell gas station to ‘ya right and a Koorong bookstore coming up to ‘ya left.
  4. ‘Ya can ignore Walcott St. to ‘ya right. It will take ‘ya a bit northwest, so keep following Guildford Rd.
  5. Guildford Rd. enters ‘ya into Lord St.
  6. ‘Ya can turn right at Harold St. has a red pedestrian lane and is the first street to the right that doesn’t head northeast. - If ‘ya missed Harold St., there are plenty of streets to turn right to. One of them is Brewer St. ‘Ya should see it by Loton Park. - One of the last less busy streets to the right is Edward St. - ‘Ya can still turn right after Edward St. but Parry St. will have more intersections.
  7. Follow ‘ya chosen street. ‘Ya will be heading northwest.
  8. Turn left at Beaufort St.
  9. Beaufort St. enters ‘ya into Barrack St.
  10. To ‘ya left, ‘ya will pass by Murray St., Hay St., and Perth Town Hall before ‘ya get to St Georges Tce.
  11. To ‘ya right, Joey Zaza’s will be along St Georges Tce.
  12. Treat ‘yoself with any of Joey Zaza’s boss sandwiches!

Mitchell Freeway to Perth City

  1. Get to Marmion Ave.
  2. Follow Marmion Ave. southwest. If ‘ya coming all the way north from Yanchep should pass by Eglington.
  3. Turn left at Romeo Rd. ‘Ya will pass by Alkimos.
  4. Turn right at Mitchell Fwy.
  5. Follow Mitchell Fwy. for about 36 mins. How long depends exactly where you’re coming from. ‘Ya should pass by: - Halesworth Park - Butler - Ridgewood and Merriwa - Kinross - Currambine - Joondalup - Edgewater - Woodvale and Craigie - Kingsley and Padbury - Warwick - Gwelup and Balcatta - Innaloo and Stirling - Osborne Park - Glendalough - Lake Monger and Britannia Road Reserve - Leederville and West Leederville - West Perth - Elizabeth Quay
  6. Turn right at William St.
  7. Turn right into St Georges Tce.
  8. ‘Ya will pass by Howard St. and Sherwood St.
  9. ‘Ya will pass by Joey Zaza’s to your right, on the other side of the road, before Barrack St. Keep going along St Georges Tce. until you see the intersection with Victoria Ave.
  10. Make a U-turn at Victoria Ave. Stay on St Georges Tce. ‘Ya will pass by Barrack St.
  11. ‘Ya made it to Joey Zaza’s! Time to grab some epic boss sandwiches.

Great Eastern Highway to Perth City

  1. Get to Great Eastern Hwy. ‘Ya will pass by:
    • Midland
    • Woodbridge
  2. Turn left at route 1.
  3. Follow route 1 into Guildford Rd.‘Ya will pass by: - the Swan River - Bassendean - Ashfield - Bayswater - Maylands - Mt Lawley
  4. Guildford Rd. will enter into Lord St.
  5. Follow steps 5-11 as ‘ya would when coming from Tonkin Hwy.
